How we perceive a poster — and how we react to its presence — happens involuntarily, almost by chance, even unwittingly. The act can be further dismissed as cursory, partial, emotionally indifferent. A poster undoubtedly forces itself on our attention, behaving coquettishly and provocatively — that is the unwritten law of the street. Daily contact with the multitude of images attacking our sense of sight leaves us apathetic, and we play down the meanings they carry.
